Field Day 2008 Photos - Appleton, WI and Green Bay, WI

The pictures I took are high quality digital images. As such, they take some time to load because there is a lot of detailed information in them. SO - there are two ways you can review them. The lazy, slow way is to simply wait for this entire page to load. With a cable modem that will take 30 seconds or more. More with DSL. Forget about it if you have dial-up... Your computer's speed may also impact the load time. When fully loaded, there should be one photo for each description set below... Another way to view them (quick, but takes some work) is to simply click of the links in the first section below - 1 at a time. If you only want to see a few, this will save you some time. If you want to see the entire presentation, it will take just as long to load them all either way.... Maybe longer by using the click method. It's up to you! Jon Kreski, AB9NN

Click here to see: Off to Green Bay - tracked the departing storm for SkyWarn as it tracked through NE Wisconsin. Interesting cloud that had broken off of the main cloud structure. This was being pushed towards the ground by wind flow out of the storm.

Click here to see: Another view of the departing storm... This one had hail associated with it - no spin-ups.
